| Black Line Light Units are engineered with the same rigorous attention to real-world functionality as our power supplies. Light units are built to handle years of fast-paced, high-power shooting. There are six standard light units and five specialty spots. All units come cabled with a locking/quick release power supply connector (which is compatible with all older Black Line Power Supplies), and are fan-cooled, with the exception of the flat profile 103. The six standard light units all utilize modular construction for easy storage and travel, are available with your choice of either clear or color-corrected flash tube, and come with a bright, 250 watt model lamp. Black Line 102 The versatile 102 universal light unit is excellent for all-round use in the studio and on location. Black Line 202VF The 202VF universal light unit incorporates a focusing reflector mount which permits photographers to control the coverage angle of the flash from narrow to wide with all Black Line light control accessories. It has uni-body construction utilizing a super tough high glass-fill nylon, and has a detachable stand mount and 20' power cable for compact storage and travel. The 202VF also includes a 2400Ws plug-in vented flash tube, noiseless fan cooling, switched 250W quartz model lamp, tube cover and 11.5" grid reflector. |

Black Line 206VF The 206VF light unit is built to couple to the special full power outlets on the 4803cx power supply, and handle 4800Ws of power. Like the 202VF, it incorporates a focusing reflector mount which permits photographers to control the coverage angle of the flash from narrow to wide with all Black Line light control accessories. Black Line 105 2-cable The 105 2-cable universal quad light unit is recommended for any situation that requires the action-stopping ability of short flash duration coupled with plenty of power. The 105 2-cable is constructed of aluminum, has forced-air cooling and two standard power cables, which allow up to 4800Ws of power to be used with its four 2400Ws plug-in vented flash tubes. Black Line 105 4-cable The 105 4-cable universal quad light unit is recommended for any situation that requires immense power and the action-stopping ability of short flash. (To see comparison flash durations of Black Line Light Units, go to the Flash Duration Chart.) While it cannot achieve flash durations as short as the 105 2-cable (because the light unit cannot be operated at as low a power output), it has the same short durations at higher powers plus the ability to handle 9600Ws! The 105 4-cable is constructed of aluminum, has forced-air cooling and four standard power cables, which allow up to 9600Ws of power to be used with its four 2400Ws plug-in vented flash tubes. It also comes with a bright 250W quartz model lamp and protective tube pouch. |

4.5" Fresnel Lens Spotlight Based on the Lowel™ 650 chassis, this highly portable unit is intended primarily as a supplementary or accent light, but is capable of handling a full 2400Ws of power. With an ISO100 guide number of 320(98 guide number in meters) at full power into the center of a tight 10° beam*, there is always enough power and control for special situations. Spreading the beam with the focus knob allows you to increase the coverage to more than 50° and reduce the guide number by one f-stop. Comes complete with 2400Ws color corrected quartz flash tube, 150W modeling lamp, four-way barn door and standard 5/8" stand mount. It's small size and low price make it ideal for portraiture. *Circle edge is one f-stop down from the center. |

Black Line 6" Variable Zoom Spot This zoom spot offers superior optical performance and economy for those who use Speedotron model 202/206 light units and Force Series Monolights. The 6" Variable Focus Zoom Spot in tandem with any of these lights combine to efficiently produce an ANSI 100 guide number of 345 (a guide number of 105 in meters) into a 52 inch circle at a distance of ten feet with 2400Ws flash tube in the 202 light unit. Comes complete with a standard 5/8" stand mount, pattern holder and 3-1/4" donut. Also available as a universal mount version. |

Black Line 8" Fresnel Focusing Spot When a spot of light that falls off in intensity is needed, there is nothing better than a Fresnel. The 8" Fresnel. focusing spot is a complete light unit with 4800Ws flash tube and power cable to fit the special full power outlets on the 4803cx power supply (to utilize the 4800Ws model with the standard power outlets on any Black Line Power Supply, the accessory adapter cable #14202 is required). It also includes a 250W quartz model lamp, and has a guide number range of 935 to 1155 at 4800Ws. It weighs 18 lbs. |

Black Line DeSisti™ 10" Fresnel Focusing Spot Based on the famed DeSisti™ 10" chassis, this 4800Ws light unit produces a 900 full power guide number (275 guide number in meters) into the center of a tight 10° beam at ANSI 100. Spreading the beam with the focus knob allows you to increase the coverage to more than 50° and reduce the guide number by 1-1/2 F-stops. The 10" Fresnel. focusing spot is a complete light unit with 4800Ws flash tube, 250W quartz model lamp, 1-1/8 inch yoke pin for suggested heavy duty cine stands, standard 5/8" stand mount and 20' head cable with a connector for Speedotron.
